Leading Jump jockey Choc Thornton got married this Summer to Meally and celebrated their one month anniversary by Choc getting a call from Cheltenham Racecourse asking if they would do a spot of modelling for the Cheltenham Collection.

“We both found the photo shoot a bit eerie as we’re not used to being at the home of Jump racing when it’s so quiet and desolate. It was really surreal looking down from high up in the stands and the view being so calm and still compared to when we’re usually there on racedays and the place is buzzing.

We soon got into the swing of things changing into the various items from this ultimate collection of smart and incredibly warm clothing (perfect for keeping the cold out at the races and exactly the sort of thing we relax in at home).

There’s lots of new items this season including a great new bag celebrating Champion Jockey AP McCoy’s 3000 career wins last season with a donation of each sale going to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool. Choc and the jockeys visit the Hospital every Friday before the Grand National. It’s a great cause and with Cheltenham we’re really proud to be supporting them.

We both had a real giggle doing the shoot and I hope you agree that the clothes look fantastic! The countdown to Cheltenham has begun. It’s our favourite Racecourse and we’re especially looking forward to being able to show off our smart new clothes whilst staying warm and cosy all day long!”
