Welcome

The heartbeat of Jump racing

The familiar excitement of what lies ahead at Cheltenham is as strong as ever.

The Festival 2009 was heralded by many people as the best ever, with four days of stunning action on the track building to Kauto Star's historic recapture of the totesport Cheltenham Gold Cup, watched by large and enthusiastic crowds determined to have a good time.

As always, the four days in the middle of March will be the focus of the Jump racing season, but racing at Cheltenham really does offer a wide variety of experiences for racegoers, from the relaxed atmosphere in October and April to the heady excitement of The Open in November and the great family occasion of New Year's Day.  There really is something for everyone.

Cheltenham also offers far more than 17 top quality days Jump racing.  The Racecourse plays host to numerous public and private events from fireworks and trade shows to concerts, car boots and anniversaries.  There is a reason for everyone to visit and enjoy Cheltenham Racecourse, the home of Jump racing.
